An Invitation to Come Closer

Nobody teaches you how to stay close.

We learn to build careers, raise children, run a household. But staying lovers, not just partners, is the one thing no one hands you the tools for. It is assumed to happen on its own, and for a while it does. Then life fills the space, and whether you are a year in or twenty, the lovers slip quietly behind the people who keep everything running.

Sometimes that shows up as distance: sharing a whole life and still feeling far from each other. Other times there is no distance at all, and you simply sense there is more to discover together.

The Art of Intimacy is a gathering for couples who want to come back to each other, or simply grow closer on purpose.

Couple

"Intimacy is not something you think, it is something you feel. Here you will learn to connect again from sensation and presence."

Is This Gathering for You?

Does any of this sound like you?

Wherever you are today, you are welcome here. See what feels familiar.

I
For the couple who

You feel the distance between you

Whether you are early in your relationship or have been together for years, you still care deeply, but life has crowded out closeness, and you miss how you used to find each other.

  • Your partner can feel more like a roommate than a lover.
  • Days pass without touch or truly deep conversation.
  • Your intimate life feels predictable, infrequent, or paused.
  • You avoid naming desires or fears, wary of conflict.
  • You miss the spark and are not sure how to rekindle it.
II
For the couple who

You feel good, and want to go deeper

Whether you are just starting out or have been together for years, you love each other and feel safe and at home together, and you quietly wonder what more the two of you could discover.

  • You're stable, kind, and genuinely comfortable together.
  • You feel safe with each other, and grateful for it.
  • Still, you sometimes wonder: is this it, is there more?
  • You sense new depths and pleasure you could explore together.
  • You'd rather grow closer on purpose than leave it to chance.

If any of this sounds like you, this gathering was made for you.

What This Gathering Is About

Something you practice, not just hear about.

This is not a theoretical workshop where you only listen and take notes. It is a space where you will experience tangible tools that rekindle intimacy, communication, and presence between you.

What You Should Know

How we hold this space.

Sensory, not sexual
Everything fully clothed. The practices awaken presence, vulnerability, and authentic connection, not techniques in bed.
In a group, but only with your partner
Up to 12 couples in one space, each working only with their partner. Like yoga in a studio: your own practice, held by the energy of the group.
Grounded in science & tradition
Integrates attachment neuroscience (Gottman, Esther Perel) with adapted tantric and somatic practices.
Something to take home
Keep using the practices whenever you want to reconnect. You will receive an exclusive guided audio to deepen together.
What Makes This Approach Unique

True intimacy isn't something you think. It's something you feel. Here you'll learn to connect from sensation and presence, to navigate vulnerability together, and to keep passion alive through conscious choice, not by accident.

In Their Own Words

From couples who have worked with us

"We'd been together 22 years and three children. This work showed us we were barely scratching the surface. We left feeling like newlyweds again."

Erica & Andrew

"My husband was skeptical at first. After the first practice, he took my hand and whispered "we needed this." It was a turning point for us."

Carolina

"We had reduced our relationship to logistics. This reminded us that we are more than that. We are lovers, soul companions."

Our Story

Why we believe in this work.

Belén and Zaki
Belén Sánchez Hidalgo & Zaki Raheem · Intiphlora

I'm Belén Sánchez Hidalgo, founder of Intiphlora. I grew up learning to disconnect from my body and my sensuality. During my twenties, while I excelled professionally, an MBA in Germany, an MPA at Harvard, I was quietly revolutionizing my understanding of intimacy.

Then came Zaki. Our love started easily, but the pandemic, cultural clashes, and the deep pain of fertility challenges forced us to grow. Years of treatments had extinguished our spontaneity and sensual connection. We found ourselves as successful professionals who had lost touch with pleasure in our marriage.

Exploring conscious relational and somatic practices transformed us: it gave us back to each other and taught us to be present, to be vulnerable, to honor our bodies as sacred. This experience led me to become certified as a VITA™ Coach in sex, love, and relationships, and it drew Zaki deeper into his own study of tantra, conscious intimacy and men's work.

We believe in this work because it saved our marriage. It taught us that intimacy is an art, cultivated intentionally. If these practices could transform our relationship after so much pain, they can transform yours too.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you may be wondering.

Is this "Tantra"? Is it religious or spiritual?
Some practices are inspired by tantric traditions, but fully adapted to a modern, secular context. It is not religious and requires no particular beliefs, a relational wellness approach based on the body and nervous system.
Is there nudity or explicit content?
No. Everything is done fully clothed. The practices are deeply intimate but completely respectful.
Will we share details of our intimate life?
No. Each couple works only with each other. There is no group sharing about your relationship or intimate life.
What if I feel uncomfortable during a practice?
You have complete control at all times. You can modify any practice, take a break, or simply observe. Consent is ongoing.
Is this for all types of couples?
Yes, established couples of all kinds, heterosexual, LGBTQ+, any configuration, together one year or twenty. What matters is that you are committed and want to deepen your connection.
My partner is resistant to participating. How do I invite them?
It's completely natural for one of you to be more enthusiastic at first. Here are some ideas:
Review this document together, sometimes seeing the words helps more than explaining it.
Focus on the practical, it's not therapy, just 5 hours learning concrete tools to reconnect.
Make it about both of you, "I'd like us to do this together" instead of "you need this."
Remember what you had, "I miss how we used to connect, and think this could help."
Normalize the discomfort, "I know it feels outside our comfort zone, but the best things usually are."

Come home to each other.
